COMBUSTION ANALYSIS

The proper combustion evaluation is a key aspect to develop high efficient engines. For that reason, LAM has developed all the necessary hardware and software elements to measure rigorously the in-cylinder pressure in internal combustion engines. Using this variable, both global engine parameters and combustion specific variables are evaluated: both global engine parameters and combustion specific variables: mass fraction burned, heat released, etc. This enables to carry out an in-depth analysis of the combustion process and hence, to find cause-effect relationships between the machine performance and the processes which take place in it.
